The low degree of specialization and the scarce human resources in medium-sized companies often lead to a delay of necessary adjustments. The potential of the available information technology is often not exploited. Managers are reluctant regarding the utilization of strategic alliances.
Opportunities arising from the opening of the markets inside and outside the EU and improvements of logistics systems are usually underutilized.
